Program Overview
武汉-香格里拉生物多样性暑期游学行将于2025年7月10日至7月21日举行,旨在为国际青年搭建一个探索自然奥秘、领略多元文化的优质平台。在为期 12 天的行程中,参与者将前往湖北武汉和云南香格里拉,感受中国中部和西南部独特的自然生态和人文风情,深入了解生物多样性对全球生态的重要性,激发他们对自然科学的探索欲望。借助丰富的野外考察、实践操作和虚拟仿真实验,可以有效培养青少年的观察能力、动手能力和团队协作能力,多维度提升青少年的综合素质。
The Wuhan-Shangri-La Biodiversity Summer Study Tour, which will run from 10 July to 21 July 2025, aims to create a quality platform for international students to explore the mysteries of nature and appreciate the diversity of cultures. During the 12-day programme, participants will explore Wuhan, Hubei Province and Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, to experience the unique natural ecology and humanities of central and southwestern China, deeply understand the importance of biodiversity to the global ecology, and stimulate their desire to explore natural science. With the help of abundant field trips, practical operations and virtual simulation experiments, it can effectively cultivate young people's observation ability, hands-on ability and teamwork ability, and improve their comprehensive quality in multiple dimensions.

Located in Wuhan, Central China Normal University (CCNU) is a key comprehensive normal university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China. It is also one of the universities on the list of the “211 National Education Priority Project” and “Double First-Class” Initiative. The origin of CCNU can be traced back to Boone College (Wenhua Shuyuan) in 1903. After years of precipitation and many mergers, it was officially named Central China Normal University in 1985.

一、魅力江城武汉:湿地与城市的生态交响

武汉,这座屹立于长江之畔的璀璨明珠,素有 “九省通衢” 的美誉,地理位置得天独厚,是中国内陆重要的交通枢纽与经济文化中心。其历史文化源远流长,可追溯至数千年前,历经岁月的洗礼,黄鹤楼等历史古迹承载着往昔的辉煌,见证着城市的沧桑变迁,深厚的历史底蕴与现代都市的蓬勃活力在此交相辉映。
在生态领域,武汉更是成绩卓著。坐拥广袤的湿地资源,东湖、后官湖湿地公园等如璀璨的生态瑰宝镶嵌其中。这些湿地生态系统类型丰富多样,是众多珍稀动植物的栖息家园,在调节气候、涵养水源、净化水质等方面发挥着不可替代的关键作用,是维护区域生态平衡的核心力量,于全国生物多样性保护的宏伟版图中占据着举足轻重的地位。

These wetland ecosystems are rich and diverse, and are home to many rare plants and animals. They play an irreplaceable role in regulating the climate conserving water and purifying water quality, and are the core force in maintaining the ecological balance of the region, and occupy a pivotal position in the grand map of biodiversity conservation in the country.

1、中国科学院武汉植物园(Wuhan Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
中国科学院武汉植物园是植物王国的缩影,汇聚了来自世界各地的海量植物资源,尤其在珍稀濒危植物保护方面成就斐然。园内设有多个特色展区,如热带雨林温室,模拟热带生态环境,展示着望天树、王莲等奇异植物;沙漠植物馆中,仙人掌、龙舌兰等耐旱植物形态各异。在此可深入了解植物适应环境的奇妙策略,学习植物保育知识,聆听科研人员讲述拯救濒危植物的感人故事,开启植物学知识的探索之旅。
The Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the epitome of the plant kingdom, bringing together a vast amount of plant resources from all over the world, with particular achievements in the conservation of rare and endangered plants. The garden has a number of special exhibition areas, such as the Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse, which simulates a tropical ecological environment and displays exotic plants such as the sky-watching tree and the king lotus; and the Desert Plant Museum, which features drought-tolerant plants such as cacti and agave in various forms. Here you can gain insight into the marvellous strategies of plants adapting to the environment, learn about plant conservation, listen to the touching stories of researchers who have rescued endangered plants, and begin a journey of botanical knowledge discovery.

2、九峰国家森林公园(Jiufeng National Forest Park)
九峰国家森林公园位于武汉市东郊,是城市中的绿色宝藏。森林植被主要为亚热带常绿阔叶林,森林覆盖率达85%以上,生态环境原始而清幽。园内山峦叠嶂,山谷幽深,溪流潺潺。拥有丰富的动植物资源,是开展森林生态研究的天然课堂。
Located in the eastern suburb of Wuhan, Jiufeng National Forest Park is a green treasure in the city. The forest vegetation is mainly subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests, with a forest coverage rate of more than 85%, and the ecological environment is primitive and secluded. The park is surrounded by mountains, deep valleys and gurgling streams. With rich animal and plant resources, it is a natural classroom for forest ecological research.

3、后官湖国家湿地公园(Houguan Lake National Wetland Park)
后官湖国家湿地公园水域辽阔,水生植物繁茂,岸边乔灌木错落有致,共同勾勒出一幅生机勃勃的湿地画卷。在这里可深入认识湖北本土常见的水生植物,如优雅的荷花、独特的芡实,剖析湿地生态系统的构成,全方位学习湿地在净化水质、调节气候等方面的重要生态功能,深刻认识湿地对于人类生存与生态稳定的深远意义,增强保护湿地生态的责任感与使命感。
Houguan Lake National Wetland Park has vast waters, luxuriant aquatic plants, and a patchwork of trees and shrubs along the shore, which together outline a vibrant wetland scroll. Here you can get to know the common aquatic plants in Hubei, such as elegant lotus and unique gorgonians, analyse the composition of the wetland ecosystem, learn the important ecological functions of wetlands in purifying water and regulating the climate, and enhance the sense of responsibility to protect the ecology of wetlands.

4、长江生态文明馆(Yangtze River Ecological Civilisation Museum)
长江生态文明馆作为武汉自然博物馆的核心场馆,以长江为脉络,全面展示长江流域自然生态与历史文化。馆内通过大型生态场景复原、珍稀动植物标本陈列、多媒体互动展示等形式,生动呈现长江从源头雪山到入海口的生态演变、生物多样性及人类与长江的依存关系。
The Yangtze River Ecological Civilisation Museum, as the core venue of Wuhan Nature Museum, takes the Yangtze River as its vein and comprehensively displays the natural ecology and history and culture of the Yangtze River Basin. Through large-scale ecological scene restoration, rare animal and plant specimens display, multimedia interactive display and other forms, the museum vividly presents the ecological evolution of the Yangtze River from the source of the snowy mountains to the sea, biodiversity and the dependence of human beings and the Yangtze River.

二、梦幻香巴拉香格里拉:高原生态的神秘画卷
(Dream Shambhala Shangri-La: A Mysterious Picture of Highland Ecology)
香格里拉,这片位于云南迪庆的神秘高原净土,仿若人间仙境,平均海拔在3000米以上,独特的地理环境造就了其令人惊叹的自然景观与丰富多样的生态系统,雪山、森林、草原、湖泊交相辉映,自然风光雄浑壮美。其生物多样性在全球生态系统中独树一帜,是众多珍稀动植物的最后家园。独特的生物资源使香格里拉成为全球生物多样性保护的热点地区,吸引着无数科研工作者与自然爱好者纷至沓来,探寻生命的奇迹与生态的奥秘。同时,香格里拉承载着浓郁的藏族文化。藏族人民在此世代繁衍生息,传承着古老而独特的文化传统,与自然生态相互交融,共同谱写着香格里拉的传奇篇章。
Shangri-La, a mysterious plateau in Diqing, Yunnan Province, is like a paradise on earth, with an average altitude of more than 3,000 metres above sea level. Its unique geographic environment has created a stunning natural landscape and rich and diverse ecosystems, with snow-capped mountains, forests, grasslands and lakes, and a majestic and magnificent natural landscape. Its biodiversity is unique among global ecosystems and is the last home of many rare plants and animals. 1、 香格里拉高山植物园(Shangri-La Alpine Botanical Garden)
香格里拉高山植物园专注于高山植物研究与保护,园内保育着大量适应高海拔、低温、强风等极端环境的珍稀植物,如高山杜鹃、绿绒蒿等。这些植物在长期进化过程中形成了独特的形态结构与生理机制。学员可在此聆听科研人员讲述两代人坚守高原、守护植物的动人故事,深入探究高山植物的生存智慧与生态适应策略,领略植物在逆境中顽强生长的生命奇迹。
Shangri-La Alpine Botanical Garden focuses on the research and protection of alpine plants. The garden conserves a large number of rare plants that have adapted to extreme environments such as high altitude, low temperatures and strong winds, such as alpine azalea and artemisia. These plants have developed unique morphological structures and physiological mechanisms in the course of long-term evolution. Participants can listen to the moving stories of two generations of people who have been sticking to the plateau and guarding the plants, explore the survival wisdom and ecological adaptation strategies of alpine plants, and appreciate the miracle of life of plants that have grown resiliently in the face of adversity.

2、 普达措国家公园(Pudacuo National Park)
普达措国家公园处于滇西北“三江并流”世界自然遗产中心地带,距香格里拉城区22千米,总面积约1313平方千米。公园范围内最高点海拔4670米,最低点海拔2347米,有多处断层崖、林间小涧、深沟峡谷等独特小景交错分布,包含了较为原始完整的森林灌丛、高山草甸、湿地湖泊、地质遗迹、河流峡谷生态系统等,具有较高的地理科学价值与旅游观赏价值。
Pudacuo National Park is located in the centre of the ‘Three Parallel Rivers’ World Natural Heritage Site in northwestern Yunnan, 22 km away from Shangri-La, with a total area of about 1,313 square kilometres. The highest point within the park is 4670 metres above sea level, the lowest point is 2347 metres above sea level, there are a number of fault cliffs, forest streams, deep ravines and canyons and other unique scenery interlaced distribution, contains a more primitive and complete forest scrub, alpine meadows, wetlands and lakes, geological relics, river and canyon ecosystems, etc., with high geoscientific and tourism ornamental value.

3、 独克宗古城与迪庆藏族自治州博物馆
(Dokuzong Ancient City and Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Museum)
独克宗古城是香格里拉历史文化的核心载体,古城内古老的石板路、传统藏式建筑错落有致,诉说着岁月的沧桑。学员可漫步古城,参观传统手工作坊,体验藏族民俗生活。
迪庆藏族自治州博物馆珍藏着大量反映藏族历史文化、滇藏茶马古道贸易往来、藏医药文化等方面的文物与资料。通过参观学习,学员将深入了解藏族文化的发展脉络、茶马古道的历史意义以及藏医药的独特魅力,促进文化交流与理解,感受多元文化的碰撞与融合。
Dokuzong Ancient City is the core carrier of Shangri-La's history and culture. The ancient stone roads and traditional Tibetan buildings in the ancient city are strewn together, telling the vicissitudes of time. Participants can stroll through the ancient city, visit traditional handicraft workshops and experience Tibetan folk life.
The Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Museum holds a large number of cultural relics and materials reflecting the history and culture of the Tibetan people, the trade exchanges along the Yunnan-Tibet Tea and Horse Road, and the culture of Tibetan medicine. Through the visit and study, the participants will deeply understand the development of Tibetan culture, the historical significance of the Ancient Tea and Horse Route and the unique charm of Tibetan medicine, promote cultural exchanges and understanding, and feel the collision and fusion of multiple cultures.
